Weymouth Recreation offers a competitive developmental swim team for children ages 6 - 18
Stroke technique, physical fitness, self confidence and positive self esteem are the primary goals and benefits of being a member of our swim team.
The team competes in the South Suburban Winter Swim League. Oct. - March. (Due to a coaching shortage we will not be competing in a league this Winter.) We compete in the South Shore Swim League in the Summer.

M/W - 2 groups
- Ages 12+ Advanced Swimmer – i.e. Competitive swimmer – Legal all strokes.
- Ages 8-12 Advanced Swimmer – i.e. Competitive swimmer – Mostly Legal all strokes, good swimmer.
T/Th - 2 groups
- Ages 6-8 – Beginner Group – New/novice learning the sport of swimming. Can swim, not a swimming lesson, but definitely the beginner group.
- Ages 8-12 – Beginner Group/Advance Beginner – Middle of the road swimmer. Might not be legal but getting there. The middle group if you will.
